Fiendish Software have developed cXML Punchout code for existing open-source shopping platforms, such as Magento.
cXML is a standard that provides business-to-business (b2b) functions allowing systems to interact electronically with customers.
cXML provides for tighter integration between the supplier's web store and customer's procurement platforms (for example SciQuest, Ariba, PECOS), allowing automatic PunchOut (remote shopping), ordering, price and availability checks and purchase order delivery.
